Summary:
|
The District has identified the need to purchase Chromebooks and related upgrades to support student learning. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20118, school districts may procure equipment through piggyback contracts established via competitive bidding by another public agency.
The Irvine Unified School District awarded Contract No. 23/24-01 (IT Technology Equipment and Peripherals) to CDW Government, LLC (CDWG) through a public competitive bid process. This contract remains valid from January 1, 2025, through December 31, 2029. CDWG has agreed to extend the same terms and pricing to the Dos Palos-Oro Loma Joint Unified School District.
This resolution authorizes the District to utilize the Irvine USD contract to purchase Chromebooks from CDWG without advertising for separate bids.
